The Medium Bishop’s Cap or Astrophytun Myriostigma is native to Mexico in the mountainous terrain at 6000 feet in altitude. This is basically a globular cactus that becomes more columnar with age. Spines are usually not present, rather the body is densely flocked with silvery white “scales”.It produces gorgeous yellow blooms during the summer months. Very drought tolerant once established.
Cactus plants are among the hardiest, most drought-tolerant in the world and very easy to maintain, as long as they are planted in a porous cactus/succulent soil, given proper drainage, daily bright light, and not over watered. Provide full sun and protect from frost.
You will receive 1 well-established, rooted plant, from an 4 inch pot, sent bareroot and packaged with great care. It will be shipped via USPS Priority mail.
If you are ordering from an area with weather below 32 degrees, please consider purchasing a heat pack.
